A Little About Us
Our vision at Bridgeway Church is very simple. We want to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. At Bridgeway we are not about buildings or an organization. We are about Jesus. We are passionate about experiencing God and expressing his love. That is the mission and purpose behind everything we do. We value meeting with God through heartfelt worship, engaging God’s Word through biblical preaching, and connecting with one another by developing authentic relationships. Regardless of gender, age, background, or nationality, Bridgeway Church is a place where you can feel absolutely welcome.
What to Expect
We are a community of ordinary people eager to experience God and express his love to the world. At Bridgeway Church you'll find people of all ages and backgrounds. You'll experience a warm, loving atmosphere where you can meet with God and develop authentic and meaningful relationships.
Our Sunday morning services typically begin with an uplifting time of worship with contemporary music followed by a biblical message that is down to earth and applicable to your life. There are also many friendly greeters who would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Most people at Bridgeway Church dress casually. Don't feel like you have to go and buy a new outfit. We are not concerned about what you wear, but that you come and experience what God wants to do in your life.

Our History
Pastor Jeff Leake, Senior Pastor of Allison Park Church began to feel God call him to plant churches in the Pittsburgh area. Through the efforts of Pastor Jeff and many other staff pastors and members, 8 churches have now been planted. Bridgeway Church was the second of those church plants and began in December 1998 as a direct result of God’s leading.
For several years, Pastor Jim “Cal” Callahan conducted “Sidewalk Sunday School” for children in areas in and around Ambridge. When Pastor Jeff and other pastors from APC were praying and discussing where to plant the second church, Pastor Cal said “Ambridge”. At that point, Pastor Jeff declared, “I will believe that Ambridge is the place when a man of God comes and tells me it is!” Within the following week, a graduate of Central Bible College, Denny Ugoletti contacted Pastor Jeff and told him that he would like to start a church in the Pittsburgh area. When asked what location he wanted to start the church, Denny replied, “Ambridge”. By December 7, 1998 Bridgeway Church was born. To this day, we continue to see lives changed by the power of God and believe more than ever that the best is yet to come!
In June 2006, Pastor Mike Santistevan succeeded Pastor Denny as Senior Pastor of Bridgeway Church. Mike and his wife Jessica are both graduates of Central Bible College. Pastor Mike and Jessica’s heart is to help people experience the love of God and equip them to become wholehearted followers of Christ.
